This was an epic build on a steep hillside site at Marlborough Ridge, and one of the most complex projects Silver Creek Construction has taken on.
Building on a steep slope brought real engineering challenges. The team used 90 posts and a range of concrete foundations to create a stable, multi-level home that works with the contour of the land rather than against it. The design steps down across levels, with a garage leading through to a master bedroom and living areas on different tiers, all connected by internal steps, making the most of both the site and the views it commands.
The build also introduced a new clip-and-lock aluminium cladding system, chosen for a durable, low-maintenance exterior that’s easy to clean and built to handle the elements. Just over a year in the making, this project highlights Silver Creek Construction’s ability to manage complex, multi-level builds on demanding sites, the kind of work that separates an experienced builder from the rest.
