The brief called for a standalone structure that did more than just house a car. The garage featured a large glazed area for natural light and a smaller foundation footprint, and it was clad in oblique board to match the main house, creating a cohesive look that ties the new build into the existing property rather than standing apart from it. The team also included a toilet, turning a simple garage into a practical, multi-purpose space that works as a workshop, storage and garden shed all in one.
